Scottish pop - glam - bubblegum band
Formed in Glasgow in November 1974, after changing their name from Salvation and replacing drummer Matt Cairns with and keyboardist Robin Birrel with , with departing for a solo career, leaving only bassist and guitarist from the Salvation line-up. They were launched as a glam pop band following their label instructions and after the failure of their debut single "The Boogiest Band In Town" they changed label and signed at scoring their No.1 hit "Forever And Ever" in 1976. In March 1977 bassist left the band and was replaced by , but they didn't last long. After their name change to for a punk single in 1977 they disbanded. joined and then , replacing in 1980. , and went on as with singer - guitarist .
