Review by Swapnil Kadu

Positive Noise's album Give Me Passion is a refreshing and electrifying addition to the post-punk/new wave genre. The album features 10 tracks that showcase the band's ability to create dynamic and catchy songs that are both danceable and thought-provoking.

The album opens with the title track, "Give Me Passion," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its driving beat and infectious chorus. Other standout tracks include "Heart of Darkness," which features a soaring guitar solo, and "Innocent Heart," which showcases the band's ability to create a more subdued, introspective sound.

One of the strengths of Give Me Passion is the diversity of styles and moods present on the album. From the upbeat and energetic "Refugees" to the haunting and atmospheric "When Lightning Strikes," Positive Noise keeps the listener engaged and surprised throughout.

Great band, great song... "this could be the one to end them all". Was lucky enough to see them Ayr Pavilion supporting Magazine, brilliant night where I ended up meeting Mrs D.
almost fell between the cracks (in the daylight) x
What's with the dodgy snaps?
Great song but not new romantic...
I was playing the playlist in the background while working at something else and was so much amazed by the Magazine-like sound, that I switched back to Youtube to write about it.
But this was useless... 5 posts, and 5 references to Mr. Devoto & friends...
i still love this more than ever
They had nothing remotely to do with the New Romantics!
Great New Romantics song
Looking for their tune "I Need You" from 85....anyone have it?
Great lost '81 obscurity!
Wow I did'nt realise the Magazine influence in this song......I still remember playing this single when it was released all the time. Thanks for uploading.
Lirycs please
Soun just like Joy Division,Dam!!
Massive ‘ Tonight Matthew’ band. Even so still good . Remember them on Peel.
Very similiar to Joy Division.

The first time the keyboards get in you remember "love will tear us apart".
FUCK FUCK YEAHHHH!!!!
One of my favourite ever tracks.
Positive Noise should have been much more successful than they were.
Ghosts seemed to be a popular song title in 1981, with of course Japan having the most well-known track with that title.
One of my all time faves
One of my all time fave songs. Just found it again going through the 12" singles at home. Its 81 all over again.
They were great although almost unheard of. I had the LP Heart of darkness back in 1981 and last year i downloaded it for free. If they had been better known i'm sure there would have been a lot more visits here. But at least i appreciate it being posted
