John P*nut Harrison is an English Writer and Producer, based in London. He started working in and around London Studios at the young age of 16, like at Conscious Sounds were he was an apprentice engineer (by the name ) of Dougie Wardrop and they formed . He started his own record label and started releasing materials by Reggae artists, such as Prince Alla. Rollo Armstrong signed him to Cheeky Records as a young Producer. He started working with Dido, co-producing White Flag, which charted in over 20 countries around the world. He was signed as a solo artist to Sony BMG, releasing his debut Album Sweet as.
Following this release in 2002 he worked with Faithless on Track Mass Destruction from their fourth Album Roots. The single was released on May 31st, 2004 and reached #7 in the UK Singles Charts. PNUT worked with Amy Winehouse on He can only hold her. In 2007 Pnut worked in Sweden, managed by Murlyn Music, working for Jennifer Lopez, Taio Cruz and Anders Baggs. Since 2009 Pnut has moved to his studio in East London, where he continues to work with established and up and coming artists including Manou on her first release Loving You and Chloe Howl on the single How Proud from her No Strings EP. P*nut worked again with Dido in 2013 on her album Girl Who Got Away, he wrote and produced the song Love To Blame. John Harrison is currently developing his band D-E-W-L with Leon Jean-Marie. Their first single Nobody Make A Sound was released in 2013.
