Jazz trio formed by Pia Beck in 1949.
During its existence, the trio was composed by many different talented musicians. A small selection: the drummers John Engels, Hans Dolman, Cees See, Martin Beekmans and Wally Bishop; the guitarists Carel de Vogel, Jan Blok and Rob Pauwels; and de bass players Fred Loggen, Dick van der Capellen, Eddie de Haas and Börge Ring.
It is a song of the first recording of this trio (for Decca, in September, 1950) that was Pia Beck's first real hit: Pia's Boogie.
