Review by Tủ bếp Minh Kiệt

Piano Concerto No2 by Nikos Skalkottas is an exceptional album that showcases the composer's mastery of classical music. The album features three movements, each with its unique character and musical style. The first movement, marked Allegro, is a lively and energetic piece that features complex harmonies and intricate piano melodies. The second movement, marked Andante, is a slower and more introspective piece that showcases Skalkottas's ability to create beautiful and haunting melodies. The final movement, marked Presto, is a fast-paced and highly rhythmic piece that highlights the composer's use of syncopation and other advanced musical techniques.

The album is performed by the Athens State Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Stefanos Tsialis, and pianist Yorgos Dalaras. The musicians deliver a flawless performance, capturing the essence of Skalkottas's music with precision and passion. The piano solos are particularly impressive, with Dalaras demonstrating exceptional skill and musicality throughout the album.
