He signed at in 1980 and he released three albums between 1981 - 1983, collaborating with such producers as on his debut and . His biggest crossover hit was the classic 1982 single "Looking Up To You" that was sampled in 's 1993 smash "Hey Mr. DJ". He has also duetted with and . He went on contributing as a guest musician in , and releases. In 2007 he went back in the studio for a new solo album titled "Return
