Review by Acadèmia Barberà Perruqueria i Estètica

Marcella Pobbe's album Lohengrin is a masterpiece of classical music that transports the listener to a world of beauty and emotion. The Italian soprano's powerful and expressive voice is perfectly suited to the soaring melodies and intricate harmonies of Wagner's epic opera, and she brings a depth of feeling and nuance to each of the album's tracks.

From the opening notes of the Prelude to Act I, Pobbe's voice fills the room with a sense of grandeur and majesty. Her rendition of the famous Bridal Chorus is breathtaking, capturing the joy and excitement of the wedding scene with a delicate touch and a soaring vocal line. The album's other highlights include the Act III Prelude, which showcases Pobbe's ability to convey both tenderness and intensity, and the stirring finale, which brings the story to a thrilling and emotional close.

Throughout the album, Pobbe is accompanied by the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, who provide a rich and vibrant backdrop for her voice. Under the direction of conductor Fabrizio Maria Carminati, the orchestra brings out the full range of Wagner's orchestration, from the delicate strings and woodwinds to the thunderous brass and percussion.
