Review by Chris Moritz

Magnum's latest album, Midnight You Won't Be Sleeping, is a testament to the band's enduring legacy as one of the most prolific and respected acts in the rock genre. The album features a rich blend of hard-rocking anthems, soaring ballads, and intricate instrumentals that showcase the band's versatility and musicianship.

From the opening track, "Black Skies," Magnum sets the tone with a thunderous riff and soaring vocals that immediately grab the listener's attention. The album's lead single, "Not Forgiven," is a catchy and upbeat rocker that highlights the band's ability to craft memorable hooks and sing-along choruses.

Other standout tracks on the album include the sweeping ballad "The Last One on Earth," which features an emotive vocal performance from lead singer Bob Catley, and the epic instrumental "Crimson on the White Sand," which showcases the band's impressive musicianship and knack for creating intricate arrangements.

What a song, what an album, what a band!
Brilliant band, saw them a few times, first time in 1988 in Ballyronan, Co. Derry & most recently last month in Dublin, absolutely brilliant band & very underrated & should have been much bigger. Oh for a time machine to go back to the 70’s again & start over
Amazing band loved seeing them live
En av deras bästa men inte samma sak utan kompet på sax som i originalet.
My dad had a big collection of different cd's. then he decided to give some of them away. i was the lucky one, who got his "The Spirit"-Album (Live recordings). now i have one question: at the beginning of "storyteller's night" you can hear a child say something. sounds like praying. what does she/he say? (the cd has  a black cover with a red Rubin). thank you vor helping me...
One of my favourite Magnum songs. Wish they would still play this live or lonely nights.
Maybe I be wrong, but If I remember well in original version there was sax solo in this song, not guitar. It's a pity that there isn't here.... Despites all it's a great song (sure not only one)!
just sounds like the video, nice, love it
Yea but def one of their best
So underrated. Absolutely crazy don't you think?

They are both great, have you checked out the latest album yet? Still producing great quality. Into the Valley Of the Moonking!

I have been watching these guys since 77 at the Railway Curzon St B'Ham
Quite simply one of the greatest bands to come out of the UK. These guys are fantastic.
Mickey Barker - Drummer (Secred Hero in this Group), best drummer in MAGNUM.
