Kissy Suzuki's latest album, Rubbish Beauties, is a masterpiece of alternative rock. The band's unique sound, which blends elements of punk, grunge, and shoegaze, is on full display in this collection of eleven tracks.
The album kicks off with the explosive "Blackout," which sets the tone for what's to come. Throughout the album, Kissy Suzuki showcases their impressive musicianship, with standout tracks like "Bad Luck Charm" and "Molotov Cocktail."
Lead vocalist Emma McKeown's haunting vocals are a highlight of the album, adding an ethereal quality to tracks like "Sick of It" and "The Other Side." The band's lyrics are equally impressive, with themes of love, loss, and rebellion woven throughout.
