Had the times been different, this would have been a chart hit. "Julie" was a beloved radio host on New York's WNEW in his later years; he brightened the afternoons for his many listeners. I met him briefly when touring the station, and he was as nice in person as he sounded on the air. He had a lot of chart hits in the 50s and early 60s, of course, as well as his own TV show.
