I needed to see if you all can help me in the support of freestyle music. I made a fan page for a petition to Funky Town Grooves Records to release Jimi Tunnell's 1985 Self titled Album from Shannon's "Let the music play" "Give me tonight" and "My heart's divided" fame on CD with bonus tracks of the 12" mixes, 7"mixes, Dub mixes, and b-sides on a double disc deluxe edition. Tony Calvert of the label Funky Town Grooves Records says if he gets enough people showing interest in this release he would consider pressing it!! Thank you in advance!!

OKAY I stand corrected, I listened to the bassapella version since the OP of this upload told me to, ah, he's not bad, I guess the music does make a difference how the voice sounds.

Amazing! Never thought I would see Jimi Tunnell on youtube, then again he was a major contributor to quite a few Latin Freestyle artists: sound, lyrics, and background vocal. Funny, I still have this single. Thank you for recognizing Jimi Tunnell.

This was a great track that I played Steinberger bass on the remix version. I came into the with my Philly vibe and just put down my bass track in one or two takes. They used the bass tracks for an bassapella solo version as you hear here. Just wonderful, just wonderful. I try to give you great feel with the solo bass track rockin .
