Singer born in 1953 (CE), died 11th June 2005 (CE) at the Kingston Public Hospital, Jamaica from a stroke. Jennifer Lara, cousin of member , was first taken into the recording studio in 1969 by keyboardist , a session musician there. She added backing vocals to the songs of some of 's biggest names, including , , and . Her first own record was released during the 1970s.
