The album features live recordings of some of the band's most popular songs, including "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to Love," as well as lesser-known tracks like "Have You Seen the Saucers" and "Milk Train."

Thankyou...this was what to come with Blows against the Empire..xxxx
Jack Casady could wrestle with Godzilla any day like it was nothing...cos the man is a MONSTER!!!!
OMG Yes! Drive this song to Sisters/Bend Oregon!
Seems like the whole comment section has misinterpreted the song. It's about how the government uses disinfo campaigns to hide their nefarious research. 5th generation warfare? No bro, saucers.
A must see live band in their
(our) day!
David Crosby co-wrote this song with Kantner. Here's recent quote from an interview (you can find the source if you look hard enough): "They are real, man. What I think is that they were here a long time ago. They took a look at us a long time ago and classified us as babies and said, "The infant race over here might turn out." And quarantined us."
So powerful even for 2022.
From the last Jefferson Airplane album released before they broke up.
Saw them in Raleigh NC about 2014. (Its Starship now I guess) Best live band (without gimmicks) I've ever seen. Humble people too. After the show they all just gathered around with the fans as they were packing up their own equipment. Met the drummer in the parking lot parked about 9 cars away from me after the show putting his cymbals into his own car trunk. Talked with him for a couple of minutes. Very nice guy and very nice people in that band.
The JA (period)
The best song ever
Me too. Excuse me can I have some cups please??

Love Paul's 12 string interplay with Jorma here going back to early JA, like on Baxter's. I heard Paul is playing in open C major tuning, that's how you get that low note with shimmering highs then turn it up to 11 and get that glorious feedback at end.

The best damn one of...
A Very underrated band in my opinion but then again so is 13 floor elevators and many other bands from the time music today rarely comes close unfortunately
I caught Jefferson Starship live in Merrillville, IN in '79 or maybe it was '80? They're playing the songs you would expect them to play when, all of a sudden, they break out this one!! I stand up and scream YYYEAAAHHHHH as all the pop fans in the audience stare at me.lol TRUE STORY-- After the show, my buddies and I are walking around behind the stage when whom do we espy walking up a set of stairs?? None other than Paul Kantner!! I'm a teenager fumbling for something to say when I call out, "Did you know Jimi Hendrix? Was he a cool dude?" He laughs and descends the stairs to have a nice chat with us...I had a pen but no paper, so I had him sign...THE BACK OF MY DRIVER'S LICENSE!! So, for the next 2-3 years I've got Paul Kantner's signature on the back of my driver's license. #lol kids
Yes - they're on the draining-board!
The plane will fly high in the sky. If you only knew to see why. Jefferson Airplane
The saucers are usually under the cups
Jefferson Airplane made this album because they were bound by contract to put out one last LP. In general it’s a through away compared to earlier work.
Yes I have. Once you see them, you're never the same. Hope you see them too.
Yes, I have seen the Saucers!
