Jasad are a Sundanese Death Metal Band from Indonesia,
Jasad, meaning dead body in English, have been around since 1990. The original Jasad line up consisted of Yuli, Tito, and Faried. In 1992, they had a change of personnel, the first of many, after Faried left the group he was replaced by two new members Hendrik, and Abut. It was this line up that released two singles, recorded live, Life 'n Die and Fuckin' Education.
The Jasad line up changed again in 1994 when Hendrik and Abut where replaced by guitarist Yayat, new vocalist Yadi Behom, and drummer Dani leaving Yuli as the sole original member. This line up released the C'est La Vie EP on Palapa Records.
By 1999 it looked like the band were set to disband for good after the successive departures of Yadi Behom and Yayat. Instead, in stepped, Injected Sufferaged,
vocalist, Man and , The Forgottens, Ferly. It was this formation of Man (vocals), Ferly (guitar), Yuli (bass), Dani (drums), which made Jasad become one of the most influential death metal bands in the country.
The band released EP Ripping the Pregnant, before issuing an album titled in 2003. The album was released Rottrevore Records and later re-released Forever Underground.
In 2005 Jasad were back in the studios, recording what would become, a full force of brutal death metal album called . Non stop touring of Annihilate The Enemy meant that the band never had time to sit down and write new songs.Fans had to wait nearly eight years, until 2013, before Jasad has finished their new album .
