Review by Dedra Murchison

The album "The Very Best of Adagio" by Herbert von Karajan and the Berliner Philharmoniker is a masterpiece of classical music. The album features some of the most beautiful and emotional adagios ever written, performed with exquisite precision and passion by one of the greatest conductors and orchestras of all time.

From the hauntingly beautiful Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber to the majestic Adagio from Symphony No. 3 in C minor by Johannes Brahms, this album is a journey through the most moving and profound moments of classical music. Herbert von Karajan's interpretation of these pieces is nothing short of breathtaking, with every note and every phrase perfectly balanced and nuanced.

The Berliner Philharmoniker, under von Karajan's masterful direction, delivers a performance that is both powerful and delicate, with a depth of expression that is truly awe-inspiring. The sound quality of the recording is superb, capturing every detail of the orchestra's performance with crystal-clear clarity.
