Maximum Heat is the sixth studio album by the British-American funk and disco group, Heatwave. Released in 1979, the album features ten tracks that showcase the band's signature sound of groovy rhythms, tight vocal harmonies, and catchy hooks.
The album opens with the title track, which sets the tone for the rest of the record with its funky bassline and upbeat tempo. "Jitterbuggin'" and "Posin' 'Til Closin'" are two other standout tracks that are sure to get listeners dancing along.
Heatwave also shows off their softer side with ballads like "All I Am" and "Where Did I Go Wrong." These tracks highlight the band's impressive vocal range and emotional depth.
