Review by Larry Johnston

At Sundown When Love Is Calling Me Home Here Or There As Long As Im With You is a delightful album by George Olsen And His Music Waring's Pennsylvanians. The album, released in 1927, is a collection of jazz and swing tunes that transport the listener back to the roaring twenties.

The album's title track, "At Sundown," is a beautiful ballad that showcases Olsen's smooth vocals and the band's impressive musicality. The song is a perfect example of the romantic and sentimental tunes that were popular at the time.

The album also features upbeat and energetic tracks such as "Varsity Drag" and "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover," which are sure to get the listener tapping their feet and singing along.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Ain't Misbehavin'," which features a lively piano solo and Olsen's crooning vocals. The song is a classic example of the jazz and swing music that was popular in the 1920s.

I have loved this version for a long while now. Such a great tune. Thanks for posting this Eddie!
Fred and Tom really knew how to blend...... Thanks for this pleasing rendition.
Good record. I especially like the banjo accompaniment. Nowadays, thanks to modern technology, here or there has become "h(th)ere" as we can communicate just as easily from both vantage points.
Recorded on February 4, 1927.
Olsen's arranger had fun with At Sundown, giving us all kinds of harmonic twists and turns.
Nice rendition!
One of my favorites from years past........................ Thanks for this posting.
