this is a good piece of music well done guys.....but I have to say Huey Lewis took it to another level.
Wow! This is great. Not sure how Huey Lewis and crew got credit for it but awesome song. Never heard it from this group.
Gotta say the heaviness of the chords and vocals in the chorus at 1:02 and 2:04, etc, is pretty F-ing sweet. Like that heaviness a lot better than Huey Lewis' version, but in most other respects I prefer Huey Lewis's version. BOTH are now in my iTunes.
Very good version of Huey Lewis. But, personally, I prefer the original, this version

Holy shit! This version is better. I had no idea this was the original recording. The groove on this is better than the cover.
OMG, I dont know how many times I have owned the Huey album since 84, but it took me until 10 minutes ago to look up who did this first. Considering it is a Chapman/Chinn song I was thinking of Pat Benatar or Nick Gilder would have been the first to have recorded it. So wasnt expecting Exile to be the first. But now that I know. I guess I will be on the hunt for this album.
It’s a shame that Exile didn’t have the hit . Both versions were really good but of course Huey was way so big at the time . Deserved to be a hit either way . ❣️❣️❣️❣️
