Acid Crusher Mount Swan, the collaborative album by Earthless and Harsh Toke, is a mind-bending journey through the depths of psychedelic rock. The album is a testament to the talent of both bands, as they each bring their unique sound and style to the table.
The album opens with "Acid Crusher," a 15-minute opus that sets the tone for the entire record. The track is a swirling, hypnotic jam that builds and builds until it reaches a fever pitch of guitar riffs and pounding drums. From there, the album takes the listener on a wild ride through a variety of moods and tempos.
One standout track is "Mount Swan," which features a driving bassline and soaring guitar solos. The song is a perfect showcase for Earthless' technical prowess, as they effortlessly shift from one intricate riff to the next.
Harsh Toke's influence can be felt on tracks like "Acid Crusher II" and "Electric Machine," which both feature a more laid-back, groove-oriented sound. These songs provide a welcome change of pace from the album's more frenetic moments.

The Captain, piggy eyed with a disconcerting scar through a white left eye, pulls out a fat cigar and grins, "Jesus, Lietenant. Just think, in a week we'll be like kings in this town! On this whole fuckin' planet!" He strolls over to the window and Mulligan flattens himself into the shadows against the wall below, above the dumpster.
As the Captain's smoke winds its way into the orange haze of a San Francisco night, Mulligan frowns at its smell. _My God! That ain't no bacco.. That's reefer,_ he thinks.
The Lieutenant mutters something from inside, and the Captain replies, but the words become distant.. Muligann's world becomes an alien landscape of waving buildings and spinning colours dancing forth from the shadows..
"I'm on some kind of a.. drug trip!" The words escape through tightly clenched teeth which seem to flex and shiver in a new way. His fillings are humming, sending messages.. to the mothership! Mulligan realises there's a pulsating light in the sky, growing larger by the moment, and he knows, it's coming for him!
"You'll never take me alive you ass-probin' grey faggots!" He exclaims and looses several shots intp the sky. Suddenly a ccommotion from above his head reminds him of the situation. Leaping in through the window, he finds the Lieutenant and the Sergeant facing him side by side, gun barrels pointed at him from the hip. Lightning fast, he leaps to his right, taking shelter behind a steel filing cabinet, a hail of bullets at his heels. _Goddammit, Rex! You let that hippie horseshit fuck your judgement in the ass!_ he thinks to himself, before realising the gunfire has subsided. He rolls out into the open, pointing the .45 at.. at.... two slim pale beings in the centre of the room with enormous black eyes boring into his very soul!
About their grey ankles, crumpled uniforms lie alongside the pelts of the Captain and Lieutenant and two voices reverberate around Mulligan's skull in eerie unison..
"You foolish fuckin' creature! You have played right into our hands.. with you under our mind control at last we have replaced the last member of the SFPD with the new supreme race on this planet! All that remains is to dissolve you inner consciousness, as we will to all of humanity!"
"it is time to show him the Acid Crushers" says one being in silence. Each alien picks up a package from the pile next to the hundreds of empty lucky cats and begins to unwrap them. Mulligan kneels in place, held in a state of petrification by unknown psychic forces from other dimensions. The packages are unwrapped. Within each is an incomprehensible glimpse into strange vistas of worlds beyond, swirling galaxies of seething stars, strange chants of unseen choirs of nameless beings, and above, within and in front of each visionary panorama burns an eldritch eye which in an instant subsumes the totality of 'Detective Rex Mulligan' into a will impossibly greater than any known in this dimension... the eyes entice and destroy every shred of the mustachioed minion of the Man.. the fate of Earth is sealed!
