Two months earlier on January 13th, 1974 the song entered Billboard's Top 100 chart at position #91, three weeks later it would peak at #60 {for two non-consecutive weeks} and it spent a total of seven weeks on the Top 100... The reached #8 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart... Between 1956 and 1992 the Illinois quintet had forty-six records on the Hot R&B Singles chart, eleven* made the Top 10 with two reaching #1, "Stay In My Corner" for three weeks in 1968 and "Oh!
