Danú - When All Is Said And Done

Danú's latest release, "When All Is Said And Done," is a captivating album that showcases the band's exceptional musicianship and traditional Irish sound. From start to finish, the album is a masterful blend of lively jigs, reels, and ballads that transport the listener to the rolling hills of Ireland.
The opening track, "The Garsun Who Beat His Father/The Colliers Reel," sets the tone for the album with its foot-tapping rhythm and intricate melodies. The instrumental tracks on the album, such as "The Rocky Road To Dublin/The Congress Reel/The Silver Spear," are particularly impressive, showcasing the band's skillful use of traditional Irish instruments like the fiddle, accordion, and bodhran.
The album also features several vocal tracks, including "The Banks of the Lee" and "The Hills of Greanmore," which are beautifully sung by Nell Ní Chróinín. Her voice is hauntingly beautiful and perfectly complements the band's traditional sound.
