I like Belinda Carlisle and all, but clearly having Jim Steinman as the producer of your music album, makes a difference. Bonnie Tyler's version of Band of Gold is far superior to both Belinda's and Freda Payne's original. Had Steinman produced this cover for Belinda, it would have been rock solid. As it is now, it's just decent.
