Review by Rod Krueger

The album Yakety Yak Charlie Brown by Coasters is a timeless classic that has stood the test of time. The Coasters were a vocal group that emerged in the 1950s and became famous for their unique blend of doo-wop and rhythm and blues. This album, in particular, showcases their musical prowess and their ability to infuse humor into their songs.

The album features some of their most iconic tracks, including "Yakety Yak," "Charlie Brown," "Poison Ivy," and "Along Came Jones." Each song is a masterpiece in its own right, with catchy hooks and witty lyrics that will have you singing along in no time.

One of the standout features of this album is the vocal harmonies that the Coasters are known for. Their voices blend seamlessly together, creating a sound that is both smooth and powerful. The instrumentation is also top-notch, with the use of saxophones and pianos adding depth and richness to the songs.

I was 3 months old on the 9th of March, 1959. Wish I'd been born in the late 1930s so I could have enjoyed these great hits first time round. Way better than all that modern garbage we get now.

Im 29 years old and I recently discovered The Coasters. What a great sound and great taste for everyone. I guess you could say I am an old soul. Love these guys though. I encourage more people to look at this in great interest. Thank you for sharing I listen to this everyday with a smile.
I've known this for about sixty years, but I never saw this before ( obviously ... ) . It doesn't seem possible to be so cool, and pack so much into two minutes, and show how colour adds nothing to the telly in the process . " We've completely run out of ideas, guys " . " Time to invent colour telly ! " .
