Review by Saheb Ali

The Chanter Sisters' album Sideshow is a delightful mix of pop, jazz, and soul. The album features the sisters' signature harmonies and catchy melodies, along with their unique blend of genres. The album kicks off with the upbeat and funky "Sideshow," which sets the tone for the entire album. The sisters' voices blend together seamlessly, creating a sound that is both powerful and soothing. "Give Me Your Love" is a soulful ballad that showcases the sisters' vocal range and emotional depth. "Love Is on the Line" is a fun and funky tune that will have listeners dancing along in no time. The album also features a cover of the classic hit "Love Will Keep Us Together," which the sisters infuse with their own style and flair. Sideshow is a fantastic album that showcases the Chanter Sisters' talent and versatility. Fans of pop, jazz, and soul will all find something to love on this album.

Absolutely brilliant tune from 1976
I used to enjoy watching Doreen and Irene playing regularly at a small West London club with their brothers in the mid 60’s.
The Chanter Sisters are sisters Irene and Doreen Chanter
This should have gone higher up the charts ,very good record
great record
This is terrific, incredible vocals.
Is this tune available on a CD. I ask because it's not available on iTunes....
I feel like a Sideshow hence I never stop playing this masterpiece .
I loved this when it was out, and still do....
Brilliant record one of my favourite songs of the fantastic 70's
I still cannot believe that it was 11 years ago that I put this on youtube , and it wasn't already on here !! - Such a GREAT SONG ............!! (Glad someone has added TOTP version too). Wonder how this would do if re-released today - who is Listening in 2020 ??????
''SIDESHOW!'' she roars - it's deafening!!
And now it is is my alarm call in the morning!
Wakes me up everytime! LOL!
Wonder if they had different dads, they look nothing like each other except for their smiles...very different physically.
Still have this on 7" vinyl. A female Axel Rose methinks.

Great to hear this again after 40 years. The girls never quite achieved that elusive chart success. In demand backing singers. Radio programmers/DJs  are so unimaginative playing the same limited range of tracks and ignoring so much great music new and old. I tend not to listen to radio anymore but make my own mixes on iTunes. Too many DJs are "personalities" and have limited knowledge of music or are "purist snobs". Thanks for posting.
I'm a lifelong Heavy Metal fan but I've loved this track ever since I first heard it many years ago. Sadly, talent doesn't always equal success.
