Review by Rowan Draper

Ad Nauseam's Straining At The Leash Tape is a bold and uncompromising album that showcases the band's raw energy and intense musicality. From the opening track "Sick of It All" to the closing number "No Way Out," the album is a relentless assault on the senses that will leave listeners reeling.

The band's sound is rooted in punk and hardcore, but they also incorporate elements of metal and noise rock to create a unique sonic blend that is both abrasive and cathartic. The songs are fast-paced and aggressive, with pounding drums, distorted guitars, and guttural vocals that convey a sense of frustration and anger.

Lyrically, the album is a scathing critique of contemporary society and its many injustices. The songs tackle issues such as police brutality, political corruption, and social inequality with an unflinching honesty that is both refreshing and unsettling.

Despite its confrontational nature, Straining At The Leash Tape is also a highly listenable album that rewards repeated listens. The band's musicianship is top-notch, and the songs are well-crafted and tightly structured.
