"My Impersonal Life" was written by Terry Furlong (Former Lead Guitarist with The Grass Roots) for his band "Blue Rose". Three Dog Night later recorded it for their "Harmony" album. For information on Terry Furlong, founder of Blue Rose, check his website at www.terry-furlong.com
My station, WHCN in Hartford, CT, used to play this track from the lone album by this group a fair amount when it was new. I single edit and mix is also on YouTube; the sound is a bit fuller, but I prefer this take. I really thought it would take off, but it didn't. Credit for discovery to the late Winn White, who "heard it first" and spread it among the rest of us on the station.
If you don't know the story behind the impressive singer / songwriter, I invite you to check out the career highlights listed in the bio on his web site. Amazing song! Check out the Three Dog Night version as well from the album "Harmony".
