They don't need it. We all know who they are. one of a kind. when it took talent to record
I admit,  I'm falling down blue......  incredibly beautiful song
exceptional song from exceptional band/dan
Love it!I've heard it hundreds of times and still love it.
Love this song. It brings back memories of life as a young adult discovering love, heartache, freedom, and those summers alone and far away from my girl. I often use this song when doing sound checks. It's part of my constant soundtrack. Thanks for posting.
just falling down blue
some days do seem so long...those are the days we're usually waiting for some thing or SOMEONE. the SOMETHING could be just anything we're just anticipating to get. the SOMEONE is no doubt someone we are missing and just want to touch and hold onto and that makes the time seem so much longer.. as if each second is an hour, and an hour seems like a day... the SOMETHING on the other hand, if it doesn't come, we can say "well, maybe tomorrow".. the SOMEONE though, even if you get the thought that it might be tomorrow instead, is what makes you feel so empty and sometimes so helpless, and YES....even falling down blue.....
this one is for whoever is listening. keep it and remember where you got it. i have an original that i'm taking with me to some peace and quiet where my therapist called "Mother Nature" is waiting for me to make more sense than people are to me right now. enjoy!!. Nature always teaches me more than what people (even not intentionally naiive) can and i can make sense from the difference...
no comment. let Jim Cuddy make it...
im not going to cry
one Canadian Tailor Made is never enough, so here, help yourself to another song made here..... i have no doubt you'll want to hear some more!!
while i just make coffee.
Blue Rodeo just doesn't get enough air play...so many fine poetic songs.  This black and white video really sets a sophisticated ambiance to a melancholy Falling Down Blue...worthy of many  a playlist...sigh ~~~
All their songs are poems rolling off their tongues, it numbs pain, rejuvenates the soul. Many sad times, many good times listening to Blue Rodeo. I remember as a early 20s back home in Nova Scotia, yes a bit lit at the time, the tide changed and the cool summer breeze picked up taking the humidity away, sky's clear and laying in the yard looking upat the stars, the CD just kept playing for hours. Laying There lost track of time not a care in the world.   Perfect
seems all women are concerned about is whether someone is a good lover...who gives a shit about that? music is so much more than carnal expression. i would bet anything this song isn't even about love interest. it's something better, and deeper than that. so weary of women who think everything is about them.
So good. This is one of the bands I really regret not having seen live.
Any man who writes lyrics like this~is a wonderful Human Being. I know from long ago, that he is. I am glad they are still kicking it out the way they wanted to. Blue Rodeo, you have a long time fan waiting to see you in Detroit or Windsor! Blue Rodeo, you have so many fans over here as well!
Had a girl play this for me once, and I fell in love with it.
@LennytheLizzard
He announced mid Novemeber that our marriage was over. No talking about it no explanation. I am relieved in some senses as I had tried for so long to capture his regard again. Now I have only my own regard to be concerned with, I am learning to breathe into my soul again. LIfe always has a plan...Thanks for your comment :)
@Elliecat07... we have seperated, guess it wasn't that he didn't notice, just that it is no longer something he is interested in. Sad times, bonus is that I get to see Jim Cuddy in a week here in Victoria, hope he plays this song, will give me some peace!
Jimmy takes you home...
@Elliecat07... hey me too! It'll be great!
thx for the share,2klime
how sad is it that my husband is in the same room and I am falling down blue, and he pretends not to notice?
@morgantheron1 Leave him, I'm pretty sure.
truly catches the feeling of just breaking up
