De Phazz, the German downtempo jazz and lounge music collective, has released their latest album, Death By Chocolate Bonus. The album is a collection of remixes and alternate versions of tracks from their previous album, Death By Chocolate, which was released in 2001.
The album features collaborations with various artists, including Karl Frierson, Pat Appleton, and Barbara Lahr. The tracks are infused with De Phazz's signature sound, which combines jazz, lounge, and electronic music elements.
The album opens with a remix of "Death By Chocolate," featuring Karl Frierson's smooth vocals and a funky bassline. Other standout tracks include "Squeeze The Trigger," which features a driving beat and Pat Appleton's sultry vocals, and "Something Special," which has a dreamy, ethereal quality.
From then on, she was the love of my life....
ive checked out de-phazz's other records and there are some good tunes, but I've not encountered any with this reggae type twist and that's what I'm after!
