First rock song to catch my 12 year old ears was Bad Side of the Moon. Then came Electric Jewels with the title track, Electric Jewels. By the time Stand Back came out, I was hooked for life. Over 40 concerts attended, been in the dressing room (yep, groupie) and still listening all the time. Excellent catalog of music. My # 1 band for 50 years now. Attitude is in my top 3 favorite albums. Myles latest releases in '21 n '22 are worth a listen. "Will the Last Voice I Hear be an Angle" is definitely a must hear, (from a fans point of view)

One of Rock's greatest bands, and they're Canadian, too. How 'bout that?

My ex often claimed that her mom, Helen McClarty, used to be their landlady in Montreal and that they skipped out owing her rent. Having been a struggling musician myself, I can certainly relate, but then again, I'm not overly quick to believe anything my ex ever said. ?

Remembering this back in 1975 when it was released. Makes me wish I was only 16 again. I'm now 62 and I still like it just as much as when it was released. April Wine has gotta be one of the best Canadian bands of all time. In my travels I was overwhelmed to hear their hit songs played on AM/FM radio stations as far away as New Zealand. So that right there just goes to show they had talent of outstanding significance. Thanks to the bands front man "Myles Goodwin" with his unique and great sounding vocals.
