Bawl's latest album, Glen Campbell Nights, is a captivating tribute to the legendary country singer. The band's unique sound combines elements of rock, country, and folk, resulting in a refreshing take on Campbell's classic hits.

The album opens with a rousing rendition of "Rhinestone Cowboy," showcasing Bawl's dynamic instrumentation and lead singer's powerful vocals. Other standout tracks include "Wichita Lineman," "Gentle on My Mind," and "By the Time I Get to Phoenix," each featuring stunning harmonies and expertly crafted arrangements.

Bawl's musicianship is on full display throughout the album, with intricate guitar work and lively percussion adding depth and energy to each track. The band's heartfelt tribute to Campbell is evident in every note, making Glen Campbell Nights a must-listen for fans of both Bawl and the late country icon.

Comments

Loved Bawl. Around during the Brit Pop period but not 'of' it. Always thought they had more of a connection with the good mid to late 80's indie bands such as Close Lobsters than the 90's Brit Pop thing.
All those singles were great, as were the B- sides. And of course the album Year Zero is a smasher.
Great song. Thanks for posting!

Different class
Thank you so much for posting these Bawl songs, they need to be heard.
Got randomly curious to see if any live footage of Bawl existed and came across this -- glad to see you're keeping the Bawl flame alive, Gil! This one and the Beyond Safe Ways EP were definitely their high point, B-sides on those two were better than most of the album tracks.
There was a video for Girls Night Out on here but cannae find it anymore... arrrrghh!!
I got into this song nearly 20 years before I found out who Glen Campbell was...
can someone upload 'parallel' from Beyond Safe Ways CD?
see wikipedia the band Pony Club for more
brilliant song, thanks for uploading, I bought album at time, but I remember this from Dave Fanning playing alot. class stuff. This will give you alot of onfo on the history of this group and its spin-offs
