About Me: I make semi-surreal figurative and landscape paintings that fuse mysterious narratives with disconcerting imagery. Primarily working with oil paints on cradled wood panels, I express the fears and anxieties that make me uncomfortable in order to be comforted. My artwork is an expression of the hope I have and a visual lament, creating a tension between hope and despair. Experiencing life through a filter of extreme contraries, the ability to communicate this visually continues to intrigue me.
