- About Me: MarthaHazzard Decker has been involved in investigating paranormal actively since 1999. She’s the founder of East Texas Paranormal (ETP) and they’ve been around since 2007. Some of her experience includes investigating Myrtles Plantation in LA and the Jefferson Hotel in Jefferson TX. Through ETP she’s had experience investigating private homes and public locations. She has professional experience as an investigator, writer and photographer, retiring in 2007 from law enforcement as the assistant chief of police and lead investigator. She worked for the State of Texas as a child death investigator for nearly seven years after leaving law enforcement until she retired from that position. Currently she is a process server and a former private investigator who specializes in cases involving children and missing persons. As a child Decker experienced a number of unexplained occurrences which triggered her long time interest into the unknown. Decker has been a guest on paranormal radio shows and accepts speaker engagements for paranormal conferences. She often presents about how to use common law enforcement techniques and apply them to paranormal interviews and investigation. Her book Paranormal Profiling was published in 2014 and is a basic on how to interview potential clients and witnesses. In 1995, Decker received a first place award from the Associated Press for specialty reporting while working as a journalist for a local newspaper. Decker has articles on numerous Internet websites and e-zines. She has over 20 years of investigative experience ranging from criminal to civil with some journalistic thrown in as well. In the mid-eighties she produced and directed several television shows. Decker is working on a project, GI's I.N.C. aka Granny Investigations.
