- About Me: Teacher John Albert Dupaya Gurtiza is a product of Makati City Public Schools: Pembo Day Care Center, Pembo Elementary School and Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr. High School. He finished Bachelor in Broadcast Communication at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Manila). He took up Certificate in Teaching Program at Philippine Normal University (Manila), the National Center for Teacher Education. He is now teaching English (Philippine Literature, Afro-Asian Literature, British and American Literature, European Literature) and News Writing in a private school situated in Makati City. Teacher John aims not to be the best teacher in the world but a teacher who believed in his students’ capabilities, and that they could be the best of whatever they want to become. Teacher John loves saying to himself: "If you can’t be the sun, be the best of whatever you can be." He'd rather be an optimist who is sometimes wrong than a pessimist who is always right.
