- About Me: The first thing you will notice is her laugh, because it almost breaks wine glasses and causes chandeliers to fall. It is infectious, even from a mile away. Sherrydayne Edwards; her effervescent personality as bubbly as champagne, capable of anything her mind is set to. Unable to conform to the predetermined path of life; (college/university, marriage then children) she has set out on a mission to live her own dreams; Dreams to travel the world, live within endless new culture, and experience incredible things with the most amazing people all around the globe. To some Sherry is a kind, sweet, innocent girl who loves her family and friends and would stop at nothing to help a person in need. To the rest of the world, well, let's just say we know her a little differently! Sherry jets off from country to country on an unstoppable typhoon of new journeys and constant exploration, fun and excitement, creativity and adventure. Does she stop to work? Sometimes, but only briefly to recoup and save for her next journey! Where is she right now? Look to your left, she could be near you! Like a turtle on speed, wearing her home on her back, she leaves her heart in many places all over the world. Sherrydayne has never felt more at home then when she is sporting her purple backpack, walking around in circles completely lost. Living in the moment is the only way, because she can’t miss out on any opportunity that comes her way. To proud to accept help, every penny spent and every dollar earned completely her own. A true nomad. Growing up, Sherrydayne never really felt like she fit in. She always had great friends, a beautiful home, a family that supported her, yet she still couldn’t rid that feeling that ‘something was missing’. She had never left Australia until 2011, and it wasn’t until then that she discovered one passion: travel. 32 countries and countless cities later, her obsession is only growing, and her passions are truly flowing. There are no checklists or bucket lists here, only a desire of new escapades. On the road she has met many that have inspired her, and everything always pointed in one direction. She had rediscovered her love for writing. Informal, creatively and truthfully, she wanted to evoke emotions just as a well-written novel would, but through her own experience. Trying to prove to the world that you can do exactly what you want to do, whatever that may be. A firm believer in making your own opportunities, working hard will get you where you want to be. Her addiction to impulsiveness, freedom and the unanticipated allowed her to finally put the puzzle pieces together. She no longer craved to be materialistically rich, but instead rich in experience. She never wants to stop learning about language, culture and herself, and she never ever wants to stop laughing. Writing and travelling? Her holy grail, and a dream that she is living vividly.
