- About Me: I've lived in NYC, France, San Diego, sailed my 30' sailboat to Mexico in 1996 where I was shipwrecked, then moved to Boca Raton, Florida where I obtained a master's degree and owned a business. Not bad for a Puerto Rican from the Bronx who was sheltered by her parents. Seventeen years ago I worked in San Diego's marine industry. Before that my adult life was spent in healthcare. Having raised a child as a single parent and learning some tough lessons along the way, I am determined to now write the book destiny has waited for me to write!
