Review by Amanda Hazel

The Ultimate Zombies Original Hits album by Zombies is a must-have for any fan of the band or classic rock music. The album includes all of the band's biggest hits, such as "She's Not There," "Time of the Season," and "Tell Her No," as well as some lesser-known tracks.

The production quality on the album is excellent, and the remastered versions of the songs sound crisp and clear. The band's signature sound, which combines catchy melodies with psychedelic and jazzy elements, is on full display throughout the album.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Care of Cell 44," a catchy pop tune with a unique and infectious melody. Another highlight is "A Rose for Emily," a haunting ballad with beautiful harmonies and a melancholy atmosphere.

Blast from the past ?
what a splendid version this classic is , These lovely guys do great justice xx i have adored them since their beginning ,, Thats a long time ,,,, The 60s era was some thing else ,,im very happy to have been their lol Jane
Friends
Sublime rithm and blues ,on decca years...❤️?️?
I know this is a sacrelige, but I prefer this to Smokey’s version
What fantastic harmonies these guys sing ,,,,,i wish they would have let me sing with them ,,,,I could have blended in very nicely ....this band brought great joy to the 60s era .......
"you got a real tight hole"...
It is so ridiculous and absurd to say this version of the Zombies is much better than the Beatles version. It is LAUGHABLE! This version by the Zombies is CHILDISH, so immature! The Beatles version has much more soul and more power. Of course, it can not be compared to the original by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, but it is by far much better than the Zombies version. And how can you say this Colin guy's voice is better than John's voice...this is absolute preposterous! The Zombies were one of the greatest bands of the 60s, perhaps even as good as the Beatles, but this song covered by them is the ONLY ONE that I don't like much.
The Zombies really did a superb job with this version. Definitely a fine talent.
Can you feel this emotion? These guys are cool! Hot too!
I can't be the only one hearing "real tight hole"
Without a doubt my favorite version of this song.
Zombies version sounds effeminate, dandy, fey. Beatles have more beat, more swing, more soul, more muscle.
Absolutely wonderful!!
Wonderful song, I think the same, better than Beatles version.
such wonderful harmonies i love this version.....................long live the 60s x
When I was a kid, I found a couple of my parent's cassette tapes. One
was Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs with Wooly Bully and three other songs
(Ring Dang Do, I'm in With the Out Crowd, and Li'l Red Riding Hood).
The other was The Zombies. This was one of the songs (with Tell Her No,
She's Not There, and I Don't Want to Know.). Although the music was "old," I jammed to it. I
especially loved the arrangement of this song in the little medley it's in. I still
have those cassette tapes, but I need to burn those songs onto CD (Yes,
I said CD.). Now, this song may sound a little dated, but I saw another post where a new fan thought that this was a MODERN group. That's how timeless and ahead of their time they were; just how damned good they are.
I like the 'Bring it home to me' part at the end, reminds me of The Animal version.
This was a great cover with their own special twist. The Zombies were great and still are! The vocals were wonderful and the musicianship.
