Review by Donna May

The album "World's Favorite Violin Pieces" by Yoshio Unno, Pinchas Zukerman, and Zino Francescatti is a collection of some of the most popular and beloved pieces of classical music featuring the violin. The three virtuosos each bring their unique style and interpretation to the pieces they perform.

The album opens with Unno's delightful interpretation of Bach's "Partita No. 3 in E Major". His playing is precise and graceful, capturing the essence of Bach's intricate melodies. Zukerman's rendition of Mozart's "Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major" is equally impressive, with his virtuosic playing bringing out the beauty and complexity of the piece.

Francescatti's performance of Tchaikovsky's "Violin Concerto in D Major" is particularly moving, with his expressive playing bringing out the emotion and drama of the piece. The album also includes other well-known pieces such as Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" and Brahms' "Violin Concerto in D Major".
