This song just popped into my head I had to see if I could find it. I have a cassette tape of 80's music I haven't played in a long time.
This reminds me of RATT's "round & round" video (with Uncle Milty) which came out two years later!

Great new wave power-pop band. This was indeed a very pop friendly track and much of their records were post-punk new wave. They carved out a niche with their DIY aesthetic and left some strong killer 80s vibes in their wake. They opened up for Adam Ant, The Pretenders, Patti Smith and were early MTV darlings. They had great fun, never took themselves seriously and left fun tunes...Notat Yurkom, you win troll fail of the year and your legacy is filling up cyberspace with piss headed troll comments.

The whole album (1982) this song came from is melodic, catchy New Wave, and to me still holds up well. I'll always love it. ♫ ♥ ♫
