Ragtime 1 The City is an amazing album that features some of the best ragtime music ever produced. The album is a collection of tracks from various artists, all of whom have contributed their own unique style to the genre. The album is a great introduction to the world of ragtime, and it's sure to please both casual listeners and die-hard fans.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin. This classic ragtime tune is one of the most recognizable pieces of music in the world, and it's easy to see why. Joplin's nimble fingers dance over the keys, creating a lively and infectious melody that's impossible to resist.
Another great track on the album is "Maple Leaf Rag" by Jelly Roll Morton. This track is a bit more laid-back than "The Entertainer," but it's still a great example of the ragtime style. Morton's piano playing is smooth and effortless, and the melody is catchy and fun.
