Thick - Anymore

Review by Mark Songer

Thick's latest album, Anymore, is a powerful and energetic collection of songs that showcases the band's unique blend of punk, rock, and pop influences. From the opening track "Bumming Me Out" to the closing number "Party With Me," the album is a non-stop barrage of catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and raw, emotive vocals.

One of the standout tracks on Anymore is "Mansplain," a scathing critique of toxic masculinity that features some of the album's most incisive lyrics and explosive guitar riffs. "Fake News," another highlight, is a blistering indictment of media manipulation and political corruption that packs a powerful punch.

About Thick

Born from the DIY/all-ages scene in New York, THICK make music with the raw defiance of punk and addictive melodies of pop, punchy and catchy and wildly tongue-in-cheek. With their live show typically spawning a mosh pit described by Stereogum as more like an aggressive hug, the Brooklyn-based trio brings an unchecked intimacy while building a deep and unshakable solidarity with the audience
