About Steve Treatment
UK punk and post-punk pioneer of late '70s DIY recording. Aided and abetted by Swell Maps (in the early days) and The NoMen (latterly).
Also played with The Ticket Inspectors in the late '80s.
Steve passed away on the 16th August 2015.

Steve Treatment is the vocalist on this E.P. (70's/80's underground character, later of The Ticket Inspectors). Marc Bolan was already dead when this EP was recorded. You are right about the Swell Maps though: they are the band playing the instruments here.
