In 1997, released a limited-edition retrospective CD compilation, freeing the extreme music "from the tyranny of boy-meets-girl Female DJs of the world" (according to the humorous press release and faux band's historiography included in a foldout insert poster). Sisyphus Autopsy also participated in several cult underground movies, including Lisa Hammer's low-budget horror comedy musical Pus$Bucket in 1991 and, most recently, Attack of the Particle Disruptors (2017), one of the last cinematographic works of renowned experimental filmmaker and "Cinema of Transgression" founder .
