Silverfish - Cockeye

Silverfish's album "Cockeye" is a gritty and intense listen that showcases the band's raw energy and unique sound. The album's opening track, "Big Bad Baby Pig Squeal," sets the tone with its aggressive guitars and ferocious vocals from lead singer Lesley Rankine. The band's mix of punk, metal, and noise rock influences are on full display throughout the album, with standout tracks like "Fuckin' Drivin' or What" and "This Fat Old Man Kills Elephants" showcasing the band's ability to create a chaotic and visceral sound.
Rankine's vocals are a highlight of the album, with her aggressive and unapologetic delivery adding to the album's overall intensity. The band's instrumentation is also top-notch, with guitarist Andrew Fuzz Duprey and bassist Chris Cooper providing a solid foundation for the band's sound. Drummer Stuart Watson's powerful and intricate drumming adds an extra layer of complexity to the album's already impressive sound.
