Boogaloo Blindman, the latest album by Ringo Starr, is a soulful and groovy collection of songs that showcases the drummer's musical prowess and his love for the boogaloo genre. The album features 10 tracks, each with its own unique flavor and vibe.

From the upbeat and funky opener "Blindman" to the bluesy and introspective "Electricity", Ringo's vocals and drumming are front and center, supported by a talented group of musicians that includes Steve Lukather, Joe Walsh, and Benmont Tench.

One of the standout tracks is "Here's to the Nights", a heartfelt tribute to the power of music and friendship that features an all-star cast of guest vocalists, including Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, and Dave Grohl. The song is a perfect example of Ringo's ability to bring people together and create something truly special.

1:44. BEST GUITAR WORK IN ROCK HISTORY
I will think of creative ways...
This is great . Ringo coming out of the Beatles ,writing stuff like this ,with George harrison's presence -especially on guitar - 100 per cent on the record
his drum pattern is unique in that sense that noone can replace ringo
Wasn't boogaloo Marc Bolan it was a nickname that Ringo called Marc in the making of born to boogie
The first rap battles between lennon-mccartney and star
All The Young Dudes…boogaloo dudes
I had to send this to all my Junior High pals.
Song is about mcartney it was alleged he died in 1966 and billy shears or sheppard took his place they called him boogaloo because he was a jerk off. Not entirely convinced. Lennon did how do u sleep about that guy too.
It's a Paul put down. Listen to lyrics carefully.
Ringo and George bringing the house down with their playing.
With regard to the Ringo bashing... most of it stems from the 70's and from Pete Best. Post Beatles he either got a press agent or one got him and he began spreading the stories about how he was sacked due to being more popular with the girls than the others! And that Ringo was not as good as he was. In light of late 60's non-rock drummers like Ginger Baker (jazz), Carl Palmer (pro rock) etc the story got traction. But anyone listening to the actual unedited bootleg Hamburg demos (more than "My Bonny" and "Ain't She Sweet") clearly can tell Pete was terrible. Could not keep time. George Martin was right in replacing him.
I first heard this song while going through my brother in law’s records in the late 1980’s. I never heard it again till I found it tonight, over 40 yrs later. I am pleased that I did find it. All I remembered was boogaloo. And I searched for it before. I didn’t know it was Ringo, I thought it was straight out Beatles. It’s catchy. It’ll stick to you, and come back half a century later.
Fun fact: this was the only solo Beatle tune to hit the US top 10 in 1972.
They all had it out for McCartney. I love every dig to Mr. Good two shoes
Ringo told me in 1973 his sometimes nickname was "Boogaloo" Well, as good as any, I suppose.
i love this track . ringo this tune should be played on the radio
Happy belated birthday Ringo
Happy 80th birthday, Rich!
It only lasts 20 seconds, but George's solo is one of the best of his whole career.
Lol, Playing this on my radio show this weekend. Telling those racist Boogaloo bois to back the hell off. No one wants your racist civil war.
Lyrics:

Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo
Back off boogaloo, what you think you’re gonna do
I gotta search right from the start

We don’t need it, don’t pretend that you are dead
Lift yourself up from the cot

Get yourself together now
And give me something tasty
Everything you’re trying to do
You know it just sounds wasted

Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
You think you’re a groove
Standing there you won’t have your shoes
And the sobs that wretch your eyes

Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo

Get yourself together now
And give me something tasty
Everything you’re trying to do
You know it just sounds wasted

Back off boogaloo, what you think I’m gonna do
I’m gonna flash right from the start

Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo
Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo
Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo
Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo
Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo
Back off boogaloo, I said back off boogaloo
C’mon, back off boogaloo…
Ringo has always been my favorite Beatle! Peace and Love. ✌?️❤️

Big igloo COMIN'
Boogaloo 2020!
Yes it was written about Paul. George's song to Paul was" sue you sue me blues" John's was "how do you sleep?" And George helped Ringo with this one. EVERYONE knew it at the time there was NO question whatsoever!! But Ringo doesn't want to hold a grudge you know So he lied. It is crazy how people try to change history. Whoever wins the war writes the history And John is dead,. Not Paul!
