The Secret History by Pavement is a compilation album that features some of the band's best B-sides, rarities, and unreleased tracks. The album is a must-listen for any fan of the band or indie rock in general.
The album's opening track, "Sue Me Jack," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its catchy guitar riff and Malkmus' distinctive vocals. The album also includes the fan-favorite "Harness Your Hopes," which was previously only available as a B-side.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Unseen Power of the Picket Fence," which pays homage to R.E.M. and their influence on Pavement's music. The song features a driving beat and Malkmus' clever lyrics.
