About Olympic
Czech rock group from Prague. Formed in 1963 after the breakup of Karkulka . Apart from their resident stage at club Olympik , they also performed as a house band of the Semafor Theatre Prague, where they premiered in the Ondráš podotýká music show on 11 November 1963. They debuted on 7" vinyl in 1964 as a studio backing band for and , albeit uncredited.
Initially led by , briefly by , and since 1965 by . During their stay in France 19681969 they were recording as the .
Still actively performing as of 2017.
