Keaton Henson - You

Review by Eduardo Rivas

Keaton Henson's album "You" is a raw and emotional collection of songs that showcase his talent as a singer-songwriter. The album is a departure from his previous work, with a more stripped-down sound that allows his lyrics and vocals to take center stage.

The opening track, "March," sets the tone for the album with its melancholic piano melody and Henson's haunting vocals. The album continues with tracks like "10AM Gare du Nord" and "Sweetheart, What Have You Done to Us" which are both introspective and deeply personal.

Henson's ability to convey emotion through his music is evident throughout the album, particularly on tracks like "Lying to You" and "Teach Me." The latter is a standout track, with its haunting melody and lyrics that seem to speak directly to the listener.

Bir zamanlar sevdiklerimle ilgilenirdin. Yok oldun birden. Belki de umudun bir yanılsamasıydı
It's been a long time since I discovered Keatons beautiful music and I am still in love with it.
damn, heard this song first time on life is strange 3, and i cried my shit out
The music playing in this song drove me away floating in the universe inside my head.
what...a unique voice....I can't believe it took years for me to find this song. I wish I wasn't so much in my bubble of my own list of emotional songs, I'm so glad this song was featured in a story-tell video game I played. I'm so glad I finally found this.
I love comming back to this song. It's just beautiful and deep. Special. This voice, music and lyrics hit me everytime. It helped me when I was in really dark place and now I just smile.
What is it with this song. When I hear it I question the nature of reality, there must be something more, a spiritual realm more real that what we experience in this physical world. I feel that God rehabilitates me with this song.
A gem.
...thank you Keaton!
I loved this song for years and just heard it in a video game I am playing rn. Legit had to pause the game-
I'm here again...
Came here after playing - Life is strange: true colors. Beautiful <3
found this song due to the game "life is strange: true colors" and stayed for the goosebumbs i get, listening it everytime. . .
X + y brought me here years ago and i forgot about until i watched a youth of may edit and finally remembered why the the song sounded familiar
One of the best songs i ever listened to :) the lyrics are so powerful and the melody is so appealing.
I've got to say, this song is absolutely devastating, and not in an enjoyable way.

I've never wept like I wept today listening to this.
'If you must die, remember your life' - that's powerful.
My goal in life is to achieve wholeness and to help change at least one life for the better.
If I hear this song I think about my crush. She is the most beautiful and perfekt woman I know. But I have the feeling I have no chance with her.
I still listening this song thinking still about same person
This might be the most raw, vulnerable artist I've ever come across like I can't make it through a song without tearing up.. dear Lord this man is gifted at getting his raw emotions out there through truly beautiful songs❣️❣️❣️
Essa música arranca o coração fora, dá uns murros e o devolve cheio de hematomas
I just love this song. Freaking love it. I wanna say love it in infinite times
This. This music comforts me, assures me, helped me. I had an anxiety attack earlier. This made me grounded and feel
Found this after playing Life is Strange :)
Amazing and heartbreaking.
His Dad, Nicky Henson (of Fawlty Towers and Minder fame), brought me here. I never knew until today, 19/1/22, that he had children. I Googled one of his sons Keaton and I was impressed that he is very much like me. He is a fellow Poet and he suffers from anxiety. I'm in awe of his bravery of putting himself out there. I must look out for one of his cds in the shops and look out for his poetry in the bookshops.
this is a song that never gets old. I have been listening to this song for years and it touches me every time. This song is pure. It is one of those songs you know the lyrics, but when you listen to it, you rarely sing along because it is extremely deep and forces every cell inside of us to stop and simply let it in... it reaches the darkest and deepest places inside ones being. It brings everything together: joy, sadness, loneliness, nostalgia, hope, death, life! So many songs make us extremely sad or extremely happy... this song though... it makes us... Alive [sad or happy or...sometimes... both]! Thank you for existing Keaton! Thank you for existing whoever is reading.
I come here every year to remember the night I cut my husband down. I hope that this year I have the courage to join him. X
