Review by shavonna Henry

Gone With The Wind, the 1960 album by Julie London, is a masterclass in vocal jazz. The album showcases London's sultry and soulful voice, backed by a talented group of musicians. The album features a mix of standards and lesser-known tunes, all delivered with London's trademark coolness and sophistication.

The album opens with the title track, a haunting rendition of the classic tune. London's voice is soft and dreamy, perfectly capturing the melancholic mood of the song. The album then moves on to more upbeat tracks like "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "Go Slow," which showcase London's ability to swing with the best of them.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Thrill Is Gone," a slow and bluesy number that allows London to really showcase her emotional range. Her voice is raw and vulnerable, conveying the pain and heartbreak of the lyrics.
