Mirror Mirror is a jazz album by American saxophonist Joe Henderson. Released in 1980, the album features Henderson's signature sound and innovative style. Henderson is joined by a talented group of musicians, including pianist Chick Corea, bassist Ron Carter, and drummer Billy Higgins.
The album opens with the title track, "Mirror Mirror," a hauntingly beautiful composition that showcases Henderson's mastery of the saxophone. The track features a slow, melodic melody that builds to a powerful crescendo. Other standout tracks include "Isotope," a lively, up-tempo tune that highlights the virtuosity of the entire band, and "Candlelight," a soulful ballad that showcases Henderson's sensitive side.

Comments
An excellent session -- very little Henderson ever did was not -- and a nice mix of tunes that show him in various tempos. Very well recorded with all the instruments balancing nicely. You can hear everyone's contribution, which is nice because it's a great group. Completely up to Henderson's high standard.
