The Jezabels - The Man Is Dead

The Jezabels have once again proven their musical prowess with their debut album, The Man Is Dead. The Australian quartet has created an intense and emotional collection of songs that showcase their talent for blending rock and pop with a touch of darkness.
Lead vocalist Hayley Mary's haunting voice is front and center throughout the album, delivering powerful lyrics that explore themes of love, loss, and redemption. The band's instrumentation is equally impressive, with guitarist Sam Lockwood, pianist Heather Shannon, and drummer Nik Kaloper creating a rich and dynamic sound that perfectly complements Mary's vocals.
Standout tracks include the driving opener "Hurt Me," the soaring ballad "Unmarked Helicopters," and the anthemic "Disco Biscuit Love." But the album as a whole is a cohesive and well-crafted work of art that showcases the Jezabels' unique style and vision.
